Requirements
- QMAP certified required; but can be obtained through VOANS once hired.
- Be eighteen (18) years of age.
- Experience in a Home Health Agency or health care facility strongly preferred.
- CNA or PCA preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide assigned clients with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established agency nursing care procedures as directed by supervisors.
- Report any noted changes in the client as they are noted.
- Assist clients with personal care activities.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and exercise.
- Perform household services essential to healthcare at home.
- Accurate documentation of cares given and pertinent observations.
- Perform delegated medical or nursing and assigned therapy procedures as necessary.
