About The Position

Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Community is under new management and is seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join their team. They are looking for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors, with a particular emphasis on those with dementia caregiving experience. The community aims to provide high-quality, specialized care in a warm, caring, and vibrant environment for both residents and staff. This role is for the 2nd shift, which runs from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Requirements

Able to pass a criminal background check.
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation.
Work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

Dementia caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
Assisting other team members with their duties.
Complete all required documents and charting.
Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
