About The Position

We're seeking a certified Caregiver/Med Tech at Mirabella ASU in our Assisted Living and Memory Care unit. Join our new community and see why our staff and residents love it here! Mirabella is home to more than 370 residents who have access to a wide array of amazing amenities and care services. As part of the continuum of care, Mirabella has a 21-bed Skilled Unit and a 20-bed memory care unit located on the second floor – both serve both existing residents and the Tempe community at large. Our residents have access to highly personalized care with 21 Private Suites/Bathrooms and a newly constructed environment (Completed in August 2020)! Requirements

  • Arizona Caregiver Certification or C.N.A certificate with Bridge course completion.
  • Med Technician Certification
  • Current and valid CPR and first aid certification.
  • One (1) year of experience in a nursing home or senior living facility.
  • Must be able to successfully pass fingerprint clearance.
  • Extensive experience on the medication cart.
  • AZ Caregiver Certification is required in order to be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience providing care preferably in a long-term care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications to residents.
  • Providing direct care to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care units.
  • Monitoring resident well-being and reporting changes to nursing staff.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities.
