About The Position

We are hiring a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver for a female client in Essex County. This is a great opportunity for an experienced caregiver who enjoys one-on-one care and takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and well-managed home environment. We’re looking for someone more than a caregiver — someone who can take initiative, manage the home, prepare good meals, and help make everyday life easier and more enjoyable for the client.

Requirements

• Current NJ CHHA license – required
• 2+ years of caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license – required
• Comfortable and confident driving the client’s car
• Strong home management and organizational skills
• Comfortable planning and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals
• Dependable, patient, caring, and professional

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily routines
• Plan, prepare, and cook meals based on the client’s preferences and needs
• Help manage the household and keep the home organized with client
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and activities using the client’s vehicle
