As a Day Services Instructor / Caregiver, you’ll support and empower individuals through hands-on care, engaging activities, and community involvement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A genuine desire to help others and make an impact
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to provide hands-on personal care
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral needs (preferred, not required—we will train the right person!)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals throughout the day
- Lead and assist with activities that promote growth, independence, and community integration
- Help implement individual goals and plans alongside Case Managers
- Support with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, mobility, hygiene, etc.)
- Assist with transportation duties, including bus attendance and transfers
- Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all participants
- Document progress and maintain accurate records using agency systems
