Requirements
- Must speak and read English fluently.
- Must live or be able to commute to Washington, Iowa.
- For PRN positions, must pick up shifts every month (Minimum of 12 hours) unless notified of a temporary change in availability.
- Must complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one personal care tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring they feel respected, supported, and comfortable.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility—helping clients feel their best and maintain dignity in their homes.
- Provide medication reminders and observe health changes under the guidance of healthcare professionals, offering peace of mind to clients and their families.
- Support transportation and mobility needs, which may include helping clients safely transfer, accompanying them to medical appointments, assisting with grocery shopping, or taking them to other important outings.
