About The Position
In-Home Caregiver / Personal Care Aide – Lathrup Village, MI Now Hiring Compassionate Caregivers CareOne Senior Care is currently seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care for seniors and adults in the Lathrup Village area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping others remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities while providing companionship, safety supervision, and support tailored to each client's needs. Caregivers play an important role in improving quality of life and helping clients maintain their independence.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to assist with physical caregiving tasks as needed
- Ability to pass a background screening
- TB test required prior to employment
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as authorized
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office
