About The Position
Advacare Homecare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated non-medical Home Care Attendant to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in home care and possess the three basic levels of certifications required for this role. This position offers competitive pay of $19.00 per hour, paid weekly. THE SHIFT IS CONSISTENT WITH THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE: FRIDAY'S AND SATURDAY'S FROM 8:00 AM TO 10:00 AM, WITH ON-CALL AVAILABILITY ON SUNDAY'S. THE CLIENT IS FEMALE, AND THE SERVICE LOCATION IS AT 80TH AVENUE AND OLIVE, PEORIA, AZ 85345. THE CAREGIVER MUST ALSO BE COMFORTABLE IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE SMOKING
Requirements
- Prior experience as a non-skilled homecare caregiver or home attendant
- Possession of the three basic required certifications (must be current and valid)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations within Phoenix, AZ
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- TB Test
- Arizona food handlers card
Responsibilities
- Provide non-skilled personal care and support to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Monitor client condition and report any changes to supervisory staff
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
