About The Position

We are looking for new caregivers to join our home care team in the Bensalem, Levittown, Fairless Hills areas. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients in aspects of their daily life as indicated by their care plan. Caregivers play an important role in allowing our clients to maintain their independence. Training and tools are provided to be successful in this role, including training on Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training are also provided to all interested caregivers as Professional Development.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
A High School diploma or GED is required
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager
Completion of Caregiver Orientation
Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

The Caregiver will demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy.
The JEVS Care at Home Caregiver will complete a competency examination after attending a training and orientation that address standard regulations. Annually thereafter, the JCAH Caregiver will complete an annual re-certification course and test.
The Caregiver will maintain confidentiality of client information as per HIPAA regulations.
The Caregiver will complete instrumental activities of daily living, according to the client’s Plan of Care.
