About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• A High School diploma or GED is required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program
• 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting the client in aspects of their daily life as is indicated by their care plan.
• Allowing our clients to maintain their independence.
• Demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy.
• Complete a competency examination after attending a training and orientation that address standard regulations.
• Complete an annual re-certification course and test.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information as per HIPAA regulations.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living, according to the client’s Plan of Care.
