Amada Senior Care is expanding its team in Lumberton, TX, and surrounding communities and is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors and veterans. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to successfully pass required background checks and drug screenings
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Providing transportation to appointments and errands
- Preparing meals and completing light housekeeping
- Observing clients and reporting changes in their condition
- Encouraging independence, engagement, and participation in daily activities
