Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Home Care Aides. The caregiver provides quality, person-centered care to clients in the comfort of their homes while promoting dignity, independence, safety, and overall well-being. Requirements

Must demonstrate compassion, patience, dependability, and professionalism.
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must successfully complete required background checks.
Must meet all applicable state, Medicaid, and agency requirements for the position.
Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assigned client/case.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Provide light housekeeping related to the client’s care and living environment.
Assist with laundry, linens, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist clients with maintaining independence and participating in daily activities.
Remind clients about medications according to the established care plan and applicable regulations.
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow each client’s individualized care plan.
Maintain client confidentiality and protect personal information.
Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable Medicaid and regulatory requirements.
Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for clients.
