About The Position
Birchwood Arbors, a Lifespark Assisted Living Community, is looking for a Caregiver/HHA to join our growing team. We are in Forest Lake, located immediately South of highway 61 and highway 8 corridors. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors. Our HHA’s become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be providing support to our residents with their personal care services.
Requirements
- Strong interest in healthcare.
- Positive, compassionate attitude.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to all genders of residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each resident with respect and dignity.
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as described on the plan of care.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
- Assist with medication administration.
