About The Position

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Saltsburg area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule and who has experience working with Dementia clients.

Requirements

At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required)

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Dementia clients
Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
