Hiring Caregiver (HHA/PCA)
About The Position
Alvita Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to join our team in the Centereach area and surrounding Suffolk County communities. We offer flexible scheduling with both short and long shifts available, working with your personal availability. We are a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers, providing In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management. We have earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval and exclusively serve private-pay clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated caregivers for both private-duty one-on-one care and facility-based care. All applicants will complete a phone screening to determine compatibility and availability. Cases are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process.
Requirements
- Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
- Must maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications
- Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them
Nice To Haves
- Home care and/or facility experience preferred
- Drivers preferred
