About The Position

McKenney Home Care has been providing private-duty home care services throughout Southwest Florida for over a decade. As a family-owned agency, we are dedicated to assisting seniors in remaining safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes through compassionate, reliable, one-on-one care. We are currently looking for an experienced Male HHA or CNA for a private-duty client in the Naples area.

Requirements

Hands-on care experience required.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to communicate clearly in English.
Strong reliability, professionalism, empathy, and attention to safety.

Nice To Haves

HHA, CNA, or experienced caregiver preferred.
Hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to complete.
TB test within the last 6 months, or willingness to complete.
Level 2 AHCA background screening, or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
Provide safe wheelchair assistance and ensure wheelchair brakes are locked during transfers and care.
Assist with meals, hydration, and safe meal routines according to client needs.
Provide medication reminders only; no medication administration.
Observe and report changes in client condition to the office or nursing team.
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Provide companionship, conversation, and supportive engagement.
Accompany client to appointments or outings as needed.
Follow the client’s care plan and instructions from supervisors and licensed clinical staff.
Complete accurate documentation through the WellSky app.
