About The Position

McKenney Home Care is a family-owned private-duty home care agency seeking experienced caregivers who are confident with hands-on care and comfortable working independently in a private home setting. We provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes and are currently hiring experienced Caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs to support clients throughout Lee and Collier County. We offer various shift opportunities including 12-hour shifts, weekend shifts, day shifts, and overnight shifts, with ongoing client assignments based on availability and experience. We value experienced caregivers who provide safe, compassionate care, and our office and clinical team work to support caregivers and match them with clients based on experience, availability, location, and care needs.

Requirements

Previous caregiving experience required
HHA certificate, CNA license, or strong hands-on caregiving experience preferred
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
Current hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
TB test within the last 6 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
Eligibility for Level 2 AHCA background screening
Reliable, patient, professional, and able to communicate clearly

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care in the client’s home setting
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility, meals, and companionship
Follow the client care plan and safety instructions
Observe and report changes in condition, behavior, or care needs
Complete timely and accurate documentation
