About The Position

Right at Home is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team of Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs) & CNA's. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to seniors, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Right at Home provides outstanding care and we are a leader in the home care industry. We serve the towns of Englewood, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and limited zip codes in North Port.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass drug screening
• Pass a full employment background check

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to seniors, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
• Assist clients with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, and shaving.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
