About The Position

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is actively seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers, Home Care Aides (HCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We provide personalized in-home care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in their own homes. Part-time opportunities are available, with the potential for additional hours based on client needs and availability. As an Acti-Kare caregiver, you will provide meaningful support to seniors and help them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work directly with clients in their homes, providing companionship and assistance with everyday activities.

Requirements

  • Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or proof of completion/current enrollment in an approved training program.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to client care.
  • Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required for caregiving.

Nice To Haves

  • Caregiving experience with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and supportive companionship.
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and activities of daily living.
  • Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, walks, errands, and other activities as needed.
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
  • Support clients with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Follow individualized care plans and client instructions.
  • Observe and report unusual incidents or changes in a client's condition to the agency, medical professionals, and family members as appropriate.
  • Respond appropriately and responsibly in emergency situations.
  • Treat every client with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion.
