About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Williamsport, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. This is a part-time role with the possibility of additional hours and full-time availability, with flexible openings across day, evening, and weekend shifts. Competitive pay starts at $17+/hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities/special needs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
