About The Position
Senior Helpers is looking for dependable Companion Caregivers to provide companionship, transportation, and everyday support to seniors who want to remain safe and independent at home. This role involves providing friendly companionship, driving clients to appointments and errands, assisting with grocery shopping, preparing simple meals, providing medication reminders, light housekeeping, accompanying clients on walks and outings, and offering supervision and general safety assistance to give families peace of mind.
Requirements
- Available between the hours of 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM weekdays
- Caring, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable working one-on-one with seniors
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to provide safe transportation when required
- Good communicators who genuinely enjoy helping others
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly companionship and conversation
- Drive clients to appointments, shopping, errands, and activities
- Assist with grocery shopping and other errands
- Prepare simple meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping
- Accompany clients on walks and outings
- Provide supervision and general safety assistance
- Give families peace of mind knowing someone dependable is there
