About The Position

The Caregiver / Companion provides supportive, non-medical care focused on companionship, supervision, and light assistance to clients in their homes. This role enhances quality of life by reducing isolation and helping clients remain comfortably and safely at home.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification required
• Background check clearance required
• Ability to assist with meal preparation and light household tasks
• Ability to offer reminders (appointments, medication schedules, daily routines)
• Ability to accompany clients to appointments or errands (if required)
• Ability to maintain a safe and supportive home environment

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior caregiving, customer service, or companion care experience preferred
• Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
• Medication Assistance Training (non-clinical level) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement
• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks
• Offer reminders (appointments, medication schedules, daily routines)
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands (if required)
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment
• Observe and report any concerns or changes in client condition
• Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Companionship
• Transportation (if applicable)

Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Earn $15.00 – $20.00 per hour based on experience, reliability, and client needs.
• Work Schedule: Minimum of 2 hours (not guaranteed), through 8-10 hours (not guaranteed). Multi-site location visits, 2-3 hours per location (not guaranteed).
