Caregiver / CNA Sun-Wed 8am-5pm
About The Position
We are looking for a reliable Caregiver or CNA to serve a client with total care needs. Hoyer Lift, and cerebral palsy or bed bound experience is preferred. This assignment is LONG TERM, 4 days per week (Sun-Wed) for 9 hours per day 8am-5pm. Additional hours may be available by taking on additional clients. Requirements
- Previous caregiver experience required
- Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS
- 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
- Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
- CPR & First Aid certification
- TB test or chest x-ray
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
Nice To Haves
- Hoyer Lift experience
- Cerebral palsy or bed bound experience
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior
- Follow care plans and safety protocols
- Assist with medication reminders
- Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
- Foster independence and promote social interaction
