About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join their team in the Baytown, TX area and surrounding areas. The role involves providing high-quality, non-medical, in-home care to seniors, many of whom are veterans, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. The position offers opportunities to make a difference daily by building meaningful relationships and supporting clients with various aspects of their daily lives.

Requirements

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional caregivers
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius
• Ability to work with both male and female clients
• Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships by providing companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with mobility, transportation, and appointments
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping
• Monitor changes in client condition and respond appropriately
• Support clients with daily activities that promote independence and dignity
