About The Position

Amada Senior Care is growing and looking for dedicated, compassionate caregivers to join their team in Vidor, TX, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and veterans by helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The position is available for both part-time and full-time employment.

Requirements

• Caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals
• Must have TWO years of caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius
• Professional attitude & strong communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship & emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming & toileting
• Medication reminders
• Mobility & transfer assistance
• Transportation to appointments & errands
• Meal preparation & light housekeeping
• Observing and reporting changes in condition
