Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join their team in Wells, TX, and surrounding areas including Alto, Pollok, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches. This role is crucial in helping seniors and veterans maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within their homes. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, and enjoys assisting others.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience with gait belts and Hoyer lifts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Monitor client safety and well-being
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and routines
