Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience with dementia care, Hoyer lifts, and comprehensive personal care is highly preferred.
- Must be deeply reliable and punctual.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a dependable vehicle.
- Able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized, empathetic care for clients navigating Alzheimer's and various stages of dementia.
- Assist with essential daily living activities (ADLs), including dignified bathing, personal hygiene, and routine brief changes/incontinence care.
- Utilize advanced mobility skills, including safe transfers using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
- Manage light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and provide reliable transportation to local appointments.
- Accurately document and communicate changes in client health or physical condition.
