About The Position

Perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. The Medication Assistant administers medications as prescribed by the physician, documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse reactions or side effects under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
At least One (1) year experience working in Assisted Living, Memory Care or skilled setting required.
A history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.
