About The Position

We proudly serve: Laguna Hills, Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, and Dana Point. IMMEDIATE NEED: Available Shifts: • Sat 6/27 — 9am–1pm • Tue 6/30 — 9am–1pm • Thu 7/2 — 9am–1pm • Sat 7/4 — 12pm–4pm (Overtime Pay) • Mon 7/7 — 10am–2pm • Thu 7/9 — 9am–1pm Shift Location: Client's home in Tustin, CA — Candidates living nearby or in the surrounding area are preferred!

Requirements

  • Must have a current HCA ID # and eligibility letter through the CA Department of Social Services
  • Current TB Screening results within the last year (and annually thereafter)
  • Valid BLS and First Aid/CPR certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1–2 years of caregiving experience with seniors in a home care setting preferred
  • Willingness to learn about chronic conditions
  • Valid driver's license, current car insurance, and valid vehicle registration required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be active on the California Home Care Registry
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. — employment verification documents required upon hire
  • Minimum of four professional references and two personal references
  • Must complete all pre-hire documents and training within 48 hours of offer; commitment to ongoing annual training required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's-related care is a plus
  • Additional trainings or certifications previously completed are encouraged
