About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers/CNAs for both part-time and full-time positions. This role involves providing essential support and companionship to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. We offer competitive weekly pay and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable assisting both male and female clients.
- Experience providing personal care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, including conversation and engaging in activities like playing games or watching TV.
- Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including dusting, laundry, taking out trash, and tidying up.
- Prepare meals, assist with feeding, encourage fluid intake, and assist with grocery shopping.
- Provide medication reminders, observing that medication was taken when needed.
Benefits
- Starting Pay is $18.50hr to $21.50hr
- Shifts available: weekdays, weekends, MORNING and DAYTIME shifts
- Hours over 40 and hours on holidays are paid time and a half
