About The Position
Touchmark on West Prospect is Appleton’s leading full-service senior living community, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through exceptional care, hospitality, and service. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver / CNA to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team on the AM shift. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with residents and helping them begin their day with dignity, comfort, and independence.
Requirements
- A genuine desire to work with and serve older adults
- Dependability and a strong commitment to attendance
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide personal care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not required
- Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with morning routines, including dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living according to each resident’s individual service plan
- Support residents with meals and other daily activities
- Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs
- Observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment
- Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the Touchmark team
