About The Position

Amada Senior Care is growing and is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join their team in Sour Lake, Beaumont, Lumberton, Kountze, and the surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to change lives by helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The position is available for part-time or full-time employment and offers flexible scheduling, including weekend and overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals
• Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Monitoring and reporting changes in condition
• Encouraging independence, safety, and engagement
