Caregiver/CNA Full Time AM
About The Position
Touchmark on West Prospect is Appleton's leading full-service senior living community, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through exceptional care, hospitality, and service. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers / CNAs to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team on the AM shift. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide exceptional care, and help residents begin each day with dignity, confidence, and compassion. Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistants receive an additional $0.75 per hour.
Requirements
- Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; caregivers without CNA certification are encouraged to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with older adults or in a healthcare setting preferred
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain after hire
- Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented attitude
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional care and creating meaningful resident experiences
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support residents with morning routines, meals, hydration, and personal care
- Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergency pendants
- Assist with walking, transfers, and transportation to meals, activities, and appointments
- Observe and communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living environments
- Accurately document care and services provided according to care plans
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being
