About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to assist a female client with post-stroke care needs and vascular dementia. This position requires a caregiver who is comfortable providing hands-on, higher-level care in a home setting. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Client Details: Female client with post-stroke complications and vascular dementia Requires hands-on assistance with most daily activities Lives at home with her daughter One friendly dog in the home Care Needs Include: Assistance with transfers and mobility (may require gait belt) Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) Feeding and meal assistance Close supervision for safety due to dementia Companionship and structured daily routine Light housekeeping related to client care Ideal Candidate: Experience with dementia and stroke recovery care required Comfortable with hands-on care and mobility assistance Patient, attentive, and reliable Comfortable working in a home with a dog If you are a skilled caregiver looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a meaningful role, we would love to hear from you! Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
  • Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
  • Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
  • Consent to drug and alcohol testing
  • TB test

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dementia and stroke recovery care required
  • Comfortable with hands-on care and mobility assistance
  • Patient, attentive, and reliable
  • Comfortable working in a home with a dog
