About The Position

Comfort Keepers of Easton is actively hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care for clients in Chestertown, Rock Hall, Worton, Edesville, and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking applicants who are available for day shift hours such as 9:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM to support our growing client needs in the area. Comfort Keepers is currently hiring for multiple in-home care opportunities in the Chestertown area, including standard caregiver/CNA assignments, State Client cases, and Veteran (VA) client assignments. As a Caregiver or CNA with Comfort Keepers, you will provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home support to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living. You’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while becoming an important part of their care team.

Requirements

  • Current Maryland CNA certification required for State Client assignments
  • Caregivers without CNA certification may still qualify for standard and Veteran (VA) client assignments
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Availability for day shift hours, including 9:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Nice To Haves

  • Home care experience preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Observe and report any changes in client condition or needs
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
