Caregiver/CNA or HHA -- Short Shifts & Benefits
About The Position

At BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley & Hudson, you'll provide one-on-one care while being supported by a team that truly values and appreciates its caregivers. We are currently hiring dependable caregivers for weekend morning and evening shifts. Available Shifts: Weekday Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Weekday Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Weekend Shifts available, Additional weekday opportunities may be available.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safety supervision
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Help with light household tasks and meal preparation as needed
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
- Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence
