About The Position
Homecare By Design is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in Lafayette and surrounding areas. This role offers a 1:1 resident-to-caregiver ratio and focuses on making a real difference in clients' lives by helping them, bringing them joy, and building meaningful relationships. The company emphasizes valuing, appreciating, and respecting its caregivers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care, including light housekeeping, meal prep, and assistance with grooming
- Offer stand-by assistance with daily living activities
- Provide medication reminders and personal care assistance
- Build lasting relationships with clients through companionship
- Offer transitional care when needed
