About The Position

This role involves providing care to clients in their homes. The cases can range from 4 to 12 hours at any time of the day, evening, or night. The caregiver will be responsible for basic personal care functions, home management, and ensuring client well-being. This position requires a reliable, empathetic, and professional individual who can work independently and effectively communicate with clients and office staff.

Requirements

• Two years of continuous work experience.
• One year of previous patient care experience; specific experience as designated by work area may be required.
• Ability to be a reliable and effective team player.
• Display ability to be self-directed and show initiative with client care.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically without direct supervision and the ability to escalate when appropriate.
• Understanding and empathetic attitude toward client and families.
• Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License in good standing along with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing basic personal care functions.
• Performing good housekeeping and home management skills, including meal and snack preparation according to the care plan, which may include following a specialized diet plan.
• Adjusting to varying home situations.
• Representing the company in a positive and professional manner through a high level of customer service.
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and office staff.
• Using computer software programs and smartphones for required education, scheduling, and care plan documentation.
