Requirements
- Driver's license and car with auto insurance
- One year of previous personal care experience at a facility or agency
- Two years of continuous work experience
- Comfortable driving within 30 minutes of where you live for cases
- New Grad CNA's are welcome
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene and grooming care to clients
- Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.
- Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs
- Reporting changes in clients' condition to nurse, supervisor, or client care coordinator
- Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties
- Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner
- Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families
- Assisting with routine therapy exercises
- Participating in case conferences as requested
- Attends all required in-service education sessions
- Has the ability to use computer software program and smart phone for required education
- Represents the company in a positive and professional manner through a high level of customer service
- Can think critically without direct supervision and the ability to escalate when appropriate.
