About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care in a home setting. The caregiver will be responsible for basic personal care functions, housekeeping, home management, and meal preparation. The position requires a reliable and empathetic individual who can work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff. A positive and professional demeanor is essential, along with the ability to use computer software and smartphones for documentation and scheduling. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are mandatory.

Requirements

• Two years of continuous work experience.
• One year of previous patient care experience; specific experience as designated by work area may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically without direct supervision and the ability to escalate when appropriate.
• Good housekeeping and home management skills, including meal and snack preparation according to care plan.
• Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
• Ability to use computer software program and smart phone for required education, scheduling and care plan documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and office staff.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License in good standing along with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
