About The Position

Emerald Crest of Minnetonka, a Cassia community, is hiring dedicated On-Call Caregivers (CNA/ HHA/ PCA) to join our team who care for memory care residents in home-like settings. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. You will love being a part of our talented and passionate team where you will feel valued and appreciated while dedicated to making our residents feel right at home. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.

Requirements

• Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA))
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with medication passing is preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate on medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aide in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitor the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
• Prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
