About The Position
We are partnering with a well-established, New Jersey-accredited home care agency serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans throughout Northern New Jersey. The organization is known for its caregiver-first culture, steady case volume, and strong operational support. They are hiring CHHAs for cases throughout Jersey City and nearby Hudson County communities. This position is strictly for Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs). Applicants must hold an active New Jersey CHHA license to be considered. Caregivers without CHHA certification will not be eligible for this role.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license (required)
- Valid identification and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders and daily living assistance
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and dignified home environment
