Requirements

Prior caregiving experience preferred (assisted living, memory care, home health, or similar)
Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the state of Tennessee – REQUIRED for CNA applicants
Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered mindset
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those living with dementia
Ability to safely lift, assist, and support residents as needed
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation

Nice To Haves

Certification is not required for Caregiver roles

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement through conversation and activities
Assist with meals, hydration, and basic household tasks as needed
Observe, monitor, and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior
Document care accurately according to community standards and EMR requirements
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
Follow all safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
Support resident dignity, comfort, and independence
Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being
