About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license
- CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Clean background check and drug test
- Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
Responsibilities
- Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
- Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
- Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
- Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
- Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
- Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
