About The Position

Do you enjoy helping others live independently and with dignity? Join BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley and provide one-on-one in-home support for adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities . We support individuals with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory differences, OCD, etc. If you've worked as a caregiver, CNA, personal care aide, child care provider, or in a similar role, this is a chance to use your skills in a way that truly impacts families. Our caregivers build meaningful relationships while helping clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment . Requirements

• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred
• 1+ year caregiving experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to assist with mobility and lift, bend squat up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Helping with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
• Supporting daily living activities and independence
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities
• Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting changes
• Following individualized care plans
