Requirements

Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a job training program or instructional setting
Strong group facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with person-centered planning
High school diploma or GED
Experience working with people with disabilities (personal or professional)
Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver’s license and at least state-minimum car insurance
Must be at least 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
Must possess and maintain a clean driving record (no moving violations, at-fault accidents, etc.)
Must have moderate smart cell phone and computer skills.
Possess a valid certificate of completion of first aid and CPR training or the ability to obtain one upon hire
Maintain current and valid licenses, certificates, or registrations that may be legally required to provide the service.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging employment readiness training and career exploration opportunities that prepare participants for real-world success.
Create individualized career plans and provide hands-on support to interns throughout internships.
Partner with employers and agencies to create inclusive, rewarding opportunities.
Track progress, celebrate achievements, and help interns transition into permanent employment.
