About The Position

Requirements

5+ years of production manufacturing experience
Understanding of Design for Manufacturing, computer aided manufacturing, and flexible manufacturing planning and control
CNC operation experience is preferred
Ability to read blueprints and work with measuring devices

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in computer control and robotics
Fundamental understanding of Programmable Logic Control

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver curriculum for machining and manufacturing courses, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
Instruct students on CNC machine operation, tooling selection, setup, and programming using industry-standard software and equipment.
Facilitate hands-on training sessions in our well-equipped workshop, demonstrating proper tool usage and machining practices.
Provide individualized feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and skill development.
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in machining operations.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve curriculum content and instructional methods based on industry trends and advancements.
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of CNC machines and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
