About The Position

The Career Services Manager supervises and assures quality systems for the Career Services team. This role involves managing strategies for job-seeker development to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with placement regulations, monitoring department performance, and leading the career services team. The manager will develop and maintain a quality Career Services program, working cooperatively with business services and training to meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in career services, education, social work or related field
5+ years’ experience working in job development with diverse populations, including hard-to-serve populations
3+ years’ experience managing a team
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of quality.
Successful experience work with the public in a positive and professional manner at all times
Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills
Thorough understanding of the New York City area job market and economic trends preferred
Strong organizational, leadership and communications skills
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, data management software)
Desire to work with a diverse population of customers with varying needs
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
