About The Position

The Career Service Advisor plays a pivotal role in equipping students and graduates with the essential job search skills required to secure employment in their chosen field of study. This position is integral to ensuring that graduates transition successfully into the workforce, aligning with their program objectives. Collaborating closely with the education department and administrative staff, the Career Service Advisor provides comprehensive placement services, analyzes graduate and employer satisfaction, and delivers actionable feedback to enhance outcomes. Key aspects of this role include: Facilitating the career readiness of students and graduates to meet industry demands. Providing personalized guidance to ensure graduates are employed in their field of study. Engaging with the healthcare community to establish and maintain strong employer relationships. Contributing to the strategic goals of the career services department through data-driven insights and performance metrics. Fostering a supportive and professional environment that promotes student success and organizational excellence. Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-energy, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
  • Proven experience in employment staffing, career services, outplacement services, or sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, graduates, and employers.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable feedback to improve graduate and employer satisfaction.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Empower students and graduates to secure employment in their field of study and embark on successful healthcare careers.
  • Manage a portfolio of graduates and facilitate their job placement within the Allied Healthcare sector.
  • Provide expert guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, resume development, and other career readiness skills.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve student and graduate employment objectives.
  • Consistently meet or exceed departmental performance metrics, including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly placement goals.
  • Support Directors in advertising, recruiting externship and placement sites, and marketing to the medical community.
  • Monitor and support students' progress during externships to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Represent CHCP positively within the community and build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings and student orientation sessions to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting regulations and standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students throughout their educational journey to promote career services.
