Provides engaging orientation and instruction to Center Life, administers tests, and evaluates student progress in the Career Preparation Period. This role involves delivering intellectually stimulating instruction that supports the Introduction to Center Life, Academic and Career Skills training, and the placement of students, considering their unique abilities. The specialist identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet diverse student needs, manages classroom operations, and coordinates with other staff to resolve student training issues. Additionally, the role includes providing training in employability, social skills, diversity, and conflict resolution, modeling appropriate behaviors, and monitoring student progress and conduct.
